About the Course
You spend your days watching children grow, play, and connect, a and that puts you in one of the most powerful positions of anyone in a child's world. The children in your room are in the most critical window of their communication and feeding development, and you're with them every single day.
But knowing what to look for when it comes to communication development? That's where this course comes in.
Early Childhood Communication: A Practical Guide for Educators is a self-paced online course designed by The Beachie Speechie, a Northern Beaches speech pathology practice, that works with children every day. Built specifically for preschool and early childhood educators, it's practical, evidence-based, and grounded in the reality of your classroom. No clinical background needed, just a genuine desire to support the children in your care.
Across five short modules, you'll learn to recognise communication milestones from birth to school entry, identify red flags across five key domains, have confident conversations with families, and understand the upcoming NDIS Thriving Kids changes, all in language that actually makes sense.
Because the earlier a concern is spotted, the better the outcome. And you're often the first to notice.
